To keep the cost of car insurance down, one of the consumer tactics that a consumer often use is also known as “fronting.” This is where a person, usually a parent, will insure a car in their name and then add their child as one of the named drivers. However, if the named driver is the only driver or the main driver, then there would be some complications if ever a claim will be made.
According to the research of Zurich Insurance, they revealed that there will always be one in ten people who will buy a car for a child or a grandchild but insure it in their own name.
